Tawang, April 8: Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik at Bumla Cottage in Tawang on Wednesday, where they held detailed discussions on the forthcoming Deputy Commissioners’ Conference scheduled to commence from April 9.

The meeting focused on the agenda, expected outcomes, and the critical role of district-level governance in accelerating development. The Governor, who is scheduled to address the conference on April 10, expressed confidence that the deliberations would be purposeful and outcome-oriented, leading to concrete steps towards the vision of a Viksit Arunachal.

They stressed the need for effective implementation at the district level, timely completion of projects, and addressing governance gaps that hinder progress.
